Modules

When thinking about modules, we'd prefer to let you decide how they work - rather than us second guess what you require. That way, your budget is only covering what you need, not what we think you (and hence everyone else) needs.

We believe that in taking this approach, we are able to deliver optimised solutions that will be scalable, fast, and offer the best experience to your users; after all, every on-line app rises and falls on such performance.

So what can you do for me?

To show that we've built a diverse range of modular functionality into a variety of Site Foundry installations, here's a list (which is by no means exhaustive - we'd hate to bore you):

• Theatre listings, bookings, Web TV and reviews
A comprehensive theatre listings application, attaching reviews, features and Web-TV (from a Flash Media Server) to listings data. The application relies on an automated data retrieval system, updating database tables each day to deliver content to users. This is combined with a member management system (processing subscription, re-subscription and ratings), mass mail outs, and tracking of advertising.

• Holiday villa advertising and booking
Allowing villa owners in holiday destinations to advertise any number of their properties - giving them the power to customise their listings, take bookings and display useful information to users. The main part of the application is based around a comprehensive villa owners module that controls payments, creation of bookings and general management of information based content.

• Product/inventory management
Every company requires an individual approach to management of their data (products and inventory); and delivery of that data to the user via their experience is always designed in unique ways.

We find that because of this, our best approach is to customise the management (and hence work flow) of this process - making it as comprehensive, or minimal as required; we've included recommendation systems, upsel and additional required products into application builds.

• eCommerce
Working with payment gateways from Pro TX to Barclay's ePDQ - we have built a variety of complex payment functions into Site Foundry; taking money for subscriptions and services to delivered products.
